Altra Introduces Max-Cushioned Trail Shoe

Trends swing like a pendulum, creating waves of fashion, art, culture, performance, you name it… there is a cycle to trends (if not everything).  In the world of athletic footwear it appears as though the design pendulum is once again on the move making it’s way from max minimalism to max cushioning in a lightweight, zero drop package.  The new Olympus from Altra seems to be the case in point.

The Olympus Design…
There’s a fine line between too much and too little protection when you’re grinding out a long run on the trail. The Olympus Trail Running Shoe looks to strike a new balance of comfort and performance as the only trail shoe with a foot-shaped toe box and max-cushioned platform.

With a 32mm stack height throughout the midsole, the Olympus offers a more cushioned ride while remaining true to the Altra zero-drop philosophy. Like all Altra models, the Olympus maps the natural design of the foot providing you a roomier toebox that allows the toes to spread out more naturally.  This natural fit not only aims to enhance comfort, but reduce foot fatigue when you’re knocking out long distance runs.

The Olympus is now available in both men’s and women’s from Altra.
