The secret sauce is a Vasque-exclusive outsole that combines Vibram® Megagrip with Vibram Lightbase technology. VIBRAM® Litebase is a recently developed technology that reduces the thickness of the rubber sole, while maintaining the same wear resistance and traction of other VIBRAM® soles. Litebase mimics mountain bike tire construction which not only results in sure footing across varying surfaces, but offers a staggering 25% reduction in outsole weight.
