We’ve had the opportunity to spend a few months with the new 20oz insulated bottle, and in all candor, it has us rethinking where our allegiance stands when it comes to insulated brands. In typical Klean Kanteen style, these new offerings don’t just crush your thirst on the run; they are attractive, durable, and perfectly portable. From the sleek and sexy lines, to the wide opening for easy drinking, and the rounded interior that makes for better cleaning, this is one beautifully designed bottle.
In addition to their iconic bright colors, the brand is also breaking out a beautiful array of new matte colors for both the Classic and Vacuum Insulated bottles. For those who enjoy a little dose of caffeine on the way to their adventure, Klean Kanteen is also updating their Café Cap. The original Café Cap magically converted your Vacuum Insulated wide mouth bottle into an on-the-go mug with one quick twist. The only downside? That magical little lid wasn’t spill proof, which not only put you at risk of loosing some of your precious java, but it cost more than a few of us some decent work shirts.
To save your dress shirts and sanity, the new leakproof Café Cap 2.0 has a silicone stopper on the interior that keeps your hot liquids where they belong when you’re not drinking — in your bottle. As always, the new Cafe Cap will be made from BPA-free polypropylene and is safe for use with acidic or hot beverages. The Café Cap 2.0 will be sold as an accessory, compatible with any Klean Kanteen wide mouth insulated bottle design.
